Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a fatal road traffic collision in Shenley.
At around 7.20am on Wednesday 30 August, a Volvo bus and a man were involved in a collision on Porters Park Drive, at the junction with Grace Avenue.
Officers, along with colleagues from East of England Ambulance Service, attended the scene, with assistance from the air ambulance. A man in his 50s was taken to hospital but sadly he passed away at around 7.15am on Tuesday 26 September.
A 57-year-old man was arrested soon after the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was released on police bail while enquiries continue.
PC Peter Hoddy from the Serious Collison Investigation Unit said: “We can confirm that that this is now being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision and we are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information.
“Additionally, we would like anyone who was driving in the area at the time, to check their dashcam and anyone who lives in the area to review their ring doorbell footage.”
