Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a cat was injured in Bricket Wood.
The incident occurred sometime between Friday 1 and Monday 4 September in the Rowan Close area, when it was reported that a cat was shot with air pellets.
PC Joanna Busch, from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please come forward.
“The cat was taken to the vets and suffered some nasty injuries, including a displaced hip, and now requires surgery.
“Did you see what happened, or have any further information to assist our investigation? Please email me with any information.”
