Police are appealing for witnesses and ifnromation following a burglary at a charity shop in Welwyn Garden City.
It was reported that offenders forced entry to one of the rooms, removed a cash till and left the scene.
Shortly afterwards the till was found by officers in the alleyway that runs towards Archers Ride, and it remained locked and closed.
PC Joshua Fice, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, or have any CCTV footage available? Please email me directly (opens in a new window) if you have any information which could assist our investigation, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be.”
