An investigation has been launched by Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Rural Operational Support Team (ROST) after a fox was reportedly hunted illegally by a pack of hounds in the Wheathampstead area.
The incident occurred in fields between Sheepcote Lane and Waterend Lane at around 3pm on Tuesday (6 February).
Enquiries are ongoing at this time and anyone with information which may assist is being asked to please come forward. If you were in the area and saw what happened, we’d be keen to hear from you.
