Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a car wheel was stolen from a car in Stevenage.
The incident occurred between 10pm on Friday 26 January and 1pm on Saturday 27 January on Leaves Spring.
Between these times the offender has approached the victims Volkswagen Golf and by unknown means has removed the rear passenger wheel from the vehicle and propped the car on to wood. The offender has then left the scene with the wheel.
PC Carl Webster, of the Stevenage Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing. We’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting out of the ordinary in the area at the time.
“Additionally, if you have a doorbell cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to assist our investigation. You can email me (opens in a new window) with any information, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be, it really could make all the difference.”
