Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a road traffic collision in Sawbridgeworth.
The incident occurred on High Wych Road at around 9.30pm on Monday (8 January) and involved a black Nissan Micra and a silver Mercedes A180.
The driver of the Micra, a woman aged in her 20s, subsequently suffered a severe medical episode. The air ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital.
The male driver of the Mercedes suffered minor injuries.
Sergeant Jim Carmichael, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. As part of this we are appealing for anyone who witnessed it, or who saw the vehicles being driven in the area prior to it, to please come forward.
“We’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured dash cam footage. If you can help, please get in touch.”
