The family of Daniel Dunton have paid tribute and thanked the public for their support.
Daniel, aged 30, was reported missing from Watford on Wednesday 3 January.
Police launched a search for Daniel and appealed to the public for help. Despite everyone’s best efforts, Daniel was sadly found by officers on Thursday 11 January.
His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
Paying tribute to Daniel, his family said: “We would like to say thank you for the kindness and love shown to us as a family whilst we come to terms with the passing of our beloved Daniel.
“Daniel was a big character with an even bigger heart - he would have loved the tributes held for him especially those from the local football community.
“Our lives will never be the same but one thing that will never change is our love for him. Until we meet again our beautiful boy.”
Daniel’s family have asked for privacy as they continue to mourn their loss.
