Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious road traffic collision in East Hertfordshire.
The incident occurred at around 2.40pm on Sunday (21 July), on Conduit Lane.
A black Suzuki motorbike was travelling down the road towards Great Hormead when, for reasons currently unknown, the rider lost control and came to rest in a nearby field.
The motorbike rider, a man aged in his twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sergeant Matthew O’Neill, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for any witnesses to please get in touch.
“The motorbike rider remains in hospital and is being treated for serious injuries. If you saw what happened, or have any dash cam footage that may help our investigation, please email me.”
You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 385 of 21 July.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
If you have dash cam footage in relation to the collision, please upload this at DAMS.
