The incident occurred on the A10 travelling southbound between Rush Green and Great Amwell just before 7am. Two vehicles were involved, a motorbike and a VW Golf.
Officers attended the scene alongside the ambulance service. Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
