The residents at Greenacres care home enjoyed a visit from the Welwyn Hatfield Neighbourhood Policing Team on Wednesday (28 February).
PCSOs Shannon Payne and Anne Devine visited the Hatfield care home for a Coffee with a Cop session.
Coffee with a Cop is a fun initiative that gives residents the chance to speak to their local police in a relaxed and information setting. It helps to break down barriers between residents and the police, aiming to give residents the confidence to contact police in times of need.
PCSO Shannon Payne said: “We had a brilliant time chatting with the lovely residents of Greenacres care home.
“The residents enjoyed learning more about our role and it was nice to give them the opportunity to ask any questions and share their views on police matters. They made us feel very welcome and it was a pleasure spending time with them.”
