David Carrick appears at the Old Bailey

David Carrick, the former Metropolitan police officer, who was originally from Stevenage in Hertfordshire, appeared at the Old Bailey today (Thursday 14 November), charged with nine offences against two victims.
The charges are - five counts of indecent assault, two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. He has also been charged with one count of coercive and controlling behaviour.
Carrick, aged 49, appeared in court via video link and pleaded not guilty to all the offences.
A provisional trial date has been set for November 2025.
