Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in Watton-at-Stone.
The incident happened in Walkern Road on Friday 13 September.
Between 8.45pm and 9.15pm, a white Yamaha motorbike and a grey Vauxhall Vivaro van were involved in a collision.
The motorcyclist, a man in his sixties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital with multiple injuries that require ongoing treatment.
The van driver, a 46 year old man from Stevenage, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
PC Michael Harman, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “We’ve been carrying out enquiries since the collision and I am now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch. This includes anyone who also saw the events leading up to the collision.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have caught what happened on dash cam.
“If you can help, please email me quoting ISR 754 of 13 September.”
You can report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
If you have dash cam footage in relation to the collision, please upload this here.
