David Carrick appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today (17 October) having been charged with eight sex offences against two victims.
The 49-year-old former Metropolitan Police officer, who was originally from Stevenage, Hertfordshire has been accused of two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and a count of coercive and controlling behaviour against a woman between 2014 and 2019 in Stevenage. He has also been charged with five counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14 in Wiltshire, between 1989 and 1990.
He appeared via video link where he was further remanded in custody. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 14 November.
