Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a road traffic collision on the M25 during the early hours of today (Thursday 24 October).
The collision occurred on the clockwise carriageway, near junction 22 for London Colney, at around 12.20am.
It was reported that a pedestrian had entered the carriageway and was subsequently struck by three vehicles.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 50s, sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital at this time.
Sergeant Tim Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around the collision.
“As part of this, we’re appealing for anyone with information to please come forward. Did you see the collision? Did you see the man in the carriageway prior to it?
“Any information at all could assist us as we progress the investigation. We’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who captured dash cam footage.”
Anyone with information is asked to please contact Sgt Davies by email.
You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 10 of 24 October, 2024.
If you have dash cam footage in relation to the collision, please upload this directly here (opens in a new window).
