Following a number of enquiries, officers arrested Almamie Jawara, aged 19, of Leveret Close, Watford. He was subsequently charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life on Thursday (26 September).

Detective Sergeant George Lewin, who is investigating, said: “This is believed to have been a targeted incident as part of an ongoing dispute. Residents deserve to feel safe in their community and I hope news of this charge provides reassurance that we take all incidents seriously and will respond appropriately.”
