Police are appealing for witnesses and information following several incidents in Stevenage.
Over the course of the evening on Sunday 15 September and into the morning of Monday 16 September, it is reported that a male set fire to a garden gazebo and attempted to set a car cover alight in the St Nicholas area.
The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a grey tracksuit.
Sergeant Matthew Fathers, from the Stevenage North Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
“If you saw anyone acting suspiciously around the St Nicholas area over the dates specified above, or have any further details to assist our investigation, please get in touch.
“Additionally, if you have any doorbell or dash cam footage then please check it, in case you captured something of use. I can be emailed directly.”
