Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian outside Hatfield train station yesterday morning (Tuesday 1 October).
A white Vauxhall Astra, travelling north on the A1000 from the French Horn Lane roundabout, towards the train station, and a female pedestrian, who was crossing the road, collided, at 6.25am.
Sergeant Tim Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “The female pedestrian, aged in her 40s, suffered serious injuries, not thought to be life threatening and is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
“There were several members of the public and vehicles passing at 6.25am yesterday morning. We are appealing for these people to contact us with any information or dash cam footage, so we can establish exactly what happened yesterday morning.
“Did you see the white Vauxhall Astra or female pedestrian outside Hatfield train station early yesterday morning? Did you capture anything of note on a dash cam? If you have any information at all, please get in touch.”
