The Welwyn Hatfield Neighbourhood Policing Team have arrested a man and seized a vehicle as they tackle local drug dealing.
A 34 year old man was arrested in Vincenzo Close, Welham Green, on Tuesday 27 August following a report from a member of the public.
The man, who is from Welham Green, was arrested on suspicion of the following offences:
The vehicle he was driving was also seized and later in custody he was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
The man has now been bailed while enquiries continue.
Sergeant Robert Wilson, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “During the arrest, we seized cannabis and then carried out a search of a property where we seized a further quantity of the drug.
“We know the misery that drugs can cause to communities and as this arrest shows, we will take action when you report concerns.
“I hope this news is reassuring and I encourage residents to carry on reporting any concerns they have.”
You can report information about drugs online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
