Officers investigating a serious assault in Watford have charged three more people in connection with the incident.
Police were called to an address in Brocklesbury Close at around 12.15am on Wednesday 24 July.
Upon arrival, officers located a man in his twenties with stab wounds.
Following an extensive investigation, three more people have now been charged:
Emmanjuel Nyanutenha, aged 18, of Alwin Place, Watford, was previously arrested on 25 July and charged with attempted murder. He was remanded into custody and will next appear for trial at St Albans Crown Court on 20 January 2025.
Detective Sergeant George Lewin, who has been investigating, said: “We have been working hard to secure four successful charges in connection with this incident, and can confirm we are not seeking anyone further at this time.”
Watford Chief Inspector Andy Wiseman said: “I hope news of these charges provides reassurance to our local community that we will do all we can to keep our communities safe.
“I’d like to thank members of the community who spoke to us about their concerns as we increased our presence in the area through patrols and also by having a mobile police station situated nearby. We will continue to have a presence in the area and carry out high-visibility patrols which may include proactive patrols by our colleagues from the National Police Air Service. If anyone has any information they wish to report, please don’t hesitate to contact us.”
