Two men have been charged in relation to incidents of robbery on the Hertfordshire/Essex border.
On the evening of Sunday 1 September, a man was the victim of robbery which took place on a houseboat in Roydon, Essex.
The following morning (Monday 2 September) another man was robbed on a different houseboat, also in Roydon.
Then around 1pm (on Monday 2 September), a third robbery took place, this time in Colthurst Gardens, Hoddesdon. Officers attended and two men were arrested in connection to all three incidents.
Kacper Reszka, aged 20, of Barn Mead, Harlow, was charged with three counts of robbery.
Damien Kowalski, aged 28, of Brockles Mead, Harlow, was charged with three counts of robbery, one count of wounding with intent and another of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.
Reszka appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 4 September where he was remanded into custody.
Kowalski then appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday 9 September and was also remanded.
Both men are next due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday 7 October for a pre-trial preparation hearing.
