Officers have made an arrest following an assault in Borehamwood and are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
The incident occurred at around 10.30am on Friday 7 June, on Maxwell Road at the junction with Elstree Way.
It is reported that a man aged in his fifties was pushed over by another male, causing GBH-level injuries.
Following CCTV enquiries, a 37-year-old man from Borehamwood was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 3 September) on suspicion of GBH without intent. He has since been released on bail.
Investigator Chloe Harding, from the Borehamwood Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries continue, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.
“We believe there may have been numerous people driving in the area at the time who saw what happened. If you have any information or dash cam footage, no matter how insignificant you think the details you have may be, please get in touch via email.”
You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/45674/24.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
If you have dash cam footage, please upload this via DAMS.
