An arrest was made at the weekend in relation to a robbery which occurred in Lee Valley Country Park.
It was reported that on Friday 28 March, a teenage boy was robbed near Slipe Lane, Wormley. A watch and a bag containing items including a mobile phone and headphones were taken.
A teenage boy, aged 16, was arrested yesterday (Sunday 6 April) in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Michael Doe, from the Broxbourne Local Crime Unit, said: “I’m hoping news of this arrest will provide reassurance to the local community that we are committed to investigating crime and that acts of robbery are treated very seriously and are not welcome in our county.”
