Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
Police are appealing for witnesses and footage as part of ongoing enquiries into an incident in Hertford.
At around 9.55pm on Thursday 17 April, officers were made aware of a red Honda moped being ridden along Ware Road, near Tesco, on false plates.
Officers located the moped in Brickendon Lane around an hour later and it was seized.
PC Harry Demant, from the Intervention response team, said: “An arrest has been made in connection with the incident and our enquiries are continuing.
“As part of our investigation, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the moped being ridden in the area around the time. We’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured footage.
“If you can help, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Demant by email.
If you have footage, please upload this online.
