Detectives have released the CCTV images of a man they would like to identify following an incident in Letchworth.
It was reported that at around 3.40pm on Sunday (2 February) a man was acting suspiciously in an alleyway in the Jarden area of the town.
The man in the image was believed to have been in the area around the time and may be able to assist with enquiries.
Although the image is not the clearest, it does show a dark jacket with a white logo on the left arm.
If you recognise him, or have additional doorbell camera footage from the area at the time, please report it.
You can report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/11080/25.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org (opens in a new window).
