A man has been charged in connection with a series of robberies at bookmakers in East Herts.
An extensive investigation was launched by the constabulary’s Specialist Investigation Team (SIT) following three robberies in Hertford and an attempted robbery in Ware.
A man was subsequently arrested on Monday 3 February.

Detective Constable Edward Law, who is leading the investigation, said: “This has been a fast-moving investigation, exploring several lines of enquiry. Charges have now been secured and the case is progressing through the courts.”
