Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information as part of ongoing enquiries into an aggravated burglary in Hertford.
The incident occurred at around 8.40pm on Wednesday (29 January).
Three men, wearing black clothing, gloves and balaclavas, forced their way into an address in Brickendon Lane and stole jewellery and cash.
One of the occupants sustained injuries during the incident.
Detective Sergeant Jason Rice, from the East Herts Local Crime Unit, said: “Understandably the victims have been left extremely shaken by the incident and are being supported by officers at this time.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, including a review of any CCTV opportunities. As part of our investigation, we’d be keen to hear from anyone who may have information about what happened.
“Did you witness any suspicious activity in the area around the time? Did you capture any dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage of people or vehicles in the area?
“Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist our enquiries. Thank you.”
Anyone with information can contact DS Rice by email.
