A man has been charged in connection with a burglary in Watford.
Officers were contacted on 16 January following a burglary at an address in Fairfolds.
It is reported that between 5.30am and 5.40am a black Radley handbag had been taken from the property, which contained a purse with bank cards and a driving licence.
The victim subsequently received notifications that her bank cards had been used.
Through a number of enquiries, officers arrested and charged Chris DeBono, aged 36, of no fixed abode, with burglary and two counts of fraud by false representation.
He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court today (23 January) where he was remanded into custody.
He will next appear at St Albans Crown Court on 20 February.
