He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court today (8 January) where he was remanded into custody.
Detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Major Crime Unit have been investigating an incident where a man was shot on the A41 and suffered a serious injury. Thankfully, the victim has since recovered after receiving medical treatment.
Detective Inspector Mark Butler, from the BCH Major Crime Unit, said: “This has been a complex investigation, and the team has worked tirelessly to gather evidence which has led to another charge in connection with the shooting.
“The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is scheduled to stand trial week commencing 19 May at Reading Crown Court.”
