Local response officers have been carrying out extra patrols to crack down on vehicle crime in Stevenage, with positive results.
Since the beginning of December, as part of these special patrols, officers have:
One arrest came after officers spotted a suspicious vehicle in Hertford Road. It quickly left the area on police arrival and officers followed the car and eventually stopped it in Knebworth. Following a search of the vehicle around 2.5 kilos of cannabis was found in the passenger footwell. A 24 year old man from Knebworth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
