A man has been charged in connection with a burglary in Hemel Hempstead.
Police were called shortly before 7.40pm on Wednesday (5 March) to report suspicious activity at an address in Great Road.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, detaining a man a short time later.
Jewellery items, confirmed as missing from the address, were recovered.
Skip Grant, aged 45, of Hobletts Road, Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with burglary and appeared before Hatfield Remand Court today (Friday 7 March). He was remanded into custody ahead of his next court hearing on Tuesday 8 April.
Further enquiries are being carried out by detectives from the Dacorum Local Crime Unit.
