A section 35 dispersal order has been put in place in South Oxhey following an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour.
The order, which comes under the Anti-Social Behaviour & Policing Act 2014, runs from 2pm today (Friday 19 June) until 4am tomorrow (Saturday 20 June) and covers the following area as shown on the map:

Neighbourhood Inspector Ben Harper said: “Over the past week we’ve received an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour, including reports of damage to vehicles and behaviour which has caused a great deal of alarm and distress among the local community.
“We take reports of this nature seriously and share the views of most people who believe this behaviour has no place in our towns.
“Officers will be patrolling the area to provide a visible presence and reassure members of the public.
“Anyone found to be acting anti-socially or committing criminal offences, will be dealt with robustly.”
A male from the town was arrested last night and remains in police custody, following racially aggravated public order and criminal damage in the Gosforth Lane area.
