A man has been charged with arson and remanded in custody after a van fire on Hillbrow, Letchworth just before midnight on Wednesday (24 June).
Officers and Herts Fire & Rescue Service attended. The fire was extinguished and a man arrested.
Colin Price, aged 52, of Spring Road, Letchworth has been charged with arson, remanded into custody and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday 28 July.
Investigations into the incident continue and anyone who witnessed what happened, or has footage of it, and has not already made contact with police, is asked to report it.
