We're unlikely to respond to health-related incidents unless:
there is a real and immediate risk of death, or
there is a real and immediate risk of harm
Police are unlikely to respond to incidents unless one of the core policing duties are met, or there is a threat to a person’s human rights under Article 2 or Article 3 of the European Convention of Human Rights. This service is for Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs), Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) and hospital staff requesting police attendance at an S135 (1) Mental Health Act Assessment (MHAA) and S135 (2) warrant.
