Safer Neighbourhoods feedback - terms and conditions
The prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to Hertfordshire residents aged 18 or over.
Entries must include a name, postal address and contact email or telephone number.
The winner will receive a £50 gift voucher or token from a shop of their choice. It must be a UK-based high street retailer. Hertfordshire Constabulary retains the right to substitute the prize with any other prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
All entrants who have filled out the feedback form or completed the online survey, and supplied a name and contact details, will be entered into the draw. The winner will be randomly selected by an independent person.
If a winner rejects their prize, does not reply or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be cancelled, and Hertfordshire Constabulary shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process above.
This process will be followed 10 times until a winner is found. If no winner is found after this, the prize will be given to a charity selected by the constabulary.
The winners will be notified by Hertfordshire Constabulary.
The decision of the judge will be final.
Employees and officers of Hertfordshire Constabulary or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and are eligible to claim any prize that may be won.
No purchase is necessary. The survey is free to enter.
Hard copy entries must use the form supplied in the newsletter and posted to Newsletters, Corporate Communication, Police Headquarters, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6XF. Photocopies will not be accepted.
Only one entry per household is allowed.
Hertfordshire Constabulary accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed.
The closing date for entries to the Prize Draw is 8 April 2024.
The draw will take place by 15 April 2024.
The initials and town of the winner can be obtained after by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Newsletters, Corporate Communication, Police Headquarters, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6XF.
By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, for the purposes outlined here, or at our discretion so we can resolve any issues raised.
Please do not use the feedback form to report crime or anti-social behaviour.
Hertfordshire Constabulary reserves the right at any time to change or cancel the Prize Draw.
No correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
The Prize Draw is run by Hertfordshire Constabulary.
