University is a fun and exciting time but it’s important that you stay safe whilst having fun. We have a dedicated University Policing Team, made up of a police constable and two police community support officers, who work hard to make sure that the University of Hertfordshire is a safe place to study.
As part of their role, the officers carry out patrols on campus, providing a reassuring and friendly presence. Throughout the academic year, they host engagement events where students can go along for information and advice – and often some freebies!
The team’s help and support extends to off-campus as well and all students, regardless of where they live, are able to contact them.
You can contact the team on email. Alternatively, you can call 101 and ask to leave a message for the University Policing Team who will get back to you. In an emergency, always call 999.
You can give feedback on the University Police Team by using the constabulary’s community voice platform echo. Simply go to bit.ly/thestudent-voice and have your say.
