An apprenticeship programme to become a police officer for those who don’t have a degree but want to gain a fully funded vocational degree while working.
Entry requirements – 32 UCAS points, C/Level 4 Maths & English GCSEs or less with relevant experience.

Level 6 Degree in Professional Policing Practice
A new training programme for 2024 to become a police officer.
Flexible for the right candidates
Two years
£31,551 – rising to £49,044
The same training and powers as regular, paid officers.
Special constables volunteer a minimum of four unpaid hours per week.
Gain skills and experience, which can aid future application to a paid police officer role.
