I joined the police in 2002, working in East Herts for 2 years before moving to Roads Policing. Upon promotion to Sergeant I worked in Broxbourne and East Herts on Intervention before moving to Hatfield and Hertsmere as an Inspector, again on Intervention. I spent 2 years in the Victim Service Team at HQ, where I oversaw the introduction of the updated Victims' Codes of Practice and created a process which saw Hertfordshire be the first police force to accurately report on and therefore manage how often we update victims of crime. I am a Public Order Public Safety Bronze Commander and managed our Operational Support Groups before being promoted to Chief Inspector. I love working in Broxbourne where we have a great relationship with Broxbourne Borough Council. This supports us in maintaining the low levels of crime and anti social behaviour we see in this CSP
