Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
As of the 17th of July 2023, it is honour and privilege to step into the role of Chief Inspector for St Albans Community Safety Partnership (CSP), including Harpenden and London Colney.
As a Police Officer for almost 25 years, I have a passion for policing and genuinely believe that partnership working is key to providing the best service to the residents of St Albans.
I believe I bring a wealth of experience to this role. I have had the fortune to have worked within a variety of specialist roles throughout my career, including Professional Standards, intelligence, Safer Neighbourhood teams, Work Force Development, Force Control Room along with various investigative roles. I have also specialised as a firearms commander, public order commander and negotiator.
Being a police officer is a huge part of my life. I am proud to wear the uniform and I truly believe in what Policing and Hertfordshire Constabulary stand for. I fundamentally believe police officers join the service to have a positive impact on their communities and make a difference. I have maintained this ethos throughout my career, and I still care deeply about doing the right thing and helping people. Its important to me that we know our communities and they know us. Policing was built on the principle that we "police by consent" successful policing relies on communities working with the police and sharing information, and vice versa.
