As of the 17th of July 2023, it is honour and privilege to step into the role of Chief Inspector for St Albans Community Safety Partnership (CSP), including Harpenden and London Colney.

As a Police Officer for almost 25 years, I have a passion for policing and genuinely believe that partnership working is key to providing the best service to the residents of St Albans.

I believe I bring a wealth of experience to this role. I have had the fortune to have worked within a variety of specialist roles throughout my career, including Professional Standards, intelligence, Safer Neighbourhood teams, Work Force Development, Force Control Room along with various investigative roles. I have also specialised as a firearms commander, public order commander and negotiator.

Being a police officer is a huge part of my life. I am proud to wear the uniform and I truly believe in what Policing and Hertfordshire Constabulary stand for. I fundamentally believe police officers join the service to have a positive impact on their communities and make a difference. I have maintained this ethos throughout my career, and I still care deeply about doing the right thing and helping people. Its important to me that we know our communities and they know us. Policing was built on the principle that we "police by consent" successful policing relies on communities working with the police and sharing information, and vice versa.

I am Paul Caro and the Inspector of the St Albans District Safer Neighbourhood Team. I have been a police officer since 2007 and started this role in January 2023.

I am Sergeant 795 Mike Saunders and have been a police officer since 1997. In my role as Community Safety Unit Sergeant, a position I have held since June 2014, I have responsibility for matters relating to ASB, Safeguarding, Licensing and Hate Crime. Within my team I have an Assistant Investigator for ASB and one for Licensing, as well as a PC that specifically deals with Hate Crime. My team work very closely with the Local Authority, the various Housing Associations that provide housing within St Albans, the local Community Mental Health Teams, schools and many other organisations that can help support the work that we do.

I am PC Alex Corr and have responsibility for the Batchwood ward.

I am PC 2204 Ben Kirby and have been a constable since 2007. I have responsibility for Verulam wards.
