During the last survey, residents asked us to focus on retail related crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as anti-social use of off-road vehicles and e-scooters.

• Patrols have been carried out.
• High-visibility reassurance patrols have been conducted in areas affected by retail crime.
• Crime prevention advice has been given to retail staff.
• Intelligence has been gathered around offenders.
• Work is continuing to better understand the contributing factors behind repeat offending. This includes exploring opportunities for support and diversionary projects, aimed at reducing reoffending and addressing underlying causes.
• Police are working alongside Youth Offending Team managers in locations experiencing higher levels of ASB. This partnership approach seeks to address problematic behaviour, engage with young people, and reduce the number of complaints received from members of the community.
• Education and advice around legal use of e-scooters is being issued.
• Scooters and vehicles are being seized across the district.
