A partial closure order has been granted for an address in Watford following concerns around anti-social behaviour, drug use and violence.
Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) across Watford have set their new local policing priorities for the coming months.
A problem property in Watford remains off-limits after an extended closure order was granted by the courts.
Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and CCTV following an arson at a shop in Watford.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information as part of continuing enquiries into an incident in Watford – and are keen to trace a man who was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
The priorities for May to August are as follows:
• Anti-social behaviour and begging around the ring road. Patrols will be carried out and officers will work alongside partner agencies to address the issues.
• Illegal use of e-scooters. Patrols and operations will be carried out and scooters will be seized.
• Shoplifting. New technology will be utilised to identify offenders and reduce incidents, engagement with businesses will continue and patrols will be carried out.
