A partial closure order has been granted for an address in Watford following concerns around anti-social behaviour, drug use and violence.
Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) across Watford have set their new local policing priorities for the coming months.
A problem property in Watford remains off-limits after an extended closure order was granted by the courts.
Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and CCTV following an arson at a shop in Watford.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information as part of continuing enquiries into an incident in Watford – and are keen to trace a man who was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
The priorities for May to August are as follows:
• Vehicle crime, including theft of and theft from motor vehicles. Patrols will be conducted, operations will be carried out and advice will be shared to help people prevent their vehicles from becoming targets for thieves.
• Anti-social behaviour, including anti-social vehicle use, in industrial areas. Operations and patrols will be carried out and vehicles will be seized where appropriate.
• Drug use and anti-social behaviour, with a particular focus on Meridan and Stanborough wards. Targeted operations and patrols will be carried out.
