They also conduct regular patrols and hold surgeries to share crime prevention advice and respond to issues or concerns. They work to solve underlying problems that cause crime and anti-social behaviour.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team has prioritised the conducting of high visibility patrols, particularly in the hours of darkness to reduce theft from motor vehicles, theft of motor vehicles and motor vehicle interference. The team also works to engage with the public through community events to offer crime prevention advice around vehicle crime.
