In 2022, the Home Office committed to the public that police would attend all residential burglaries.
Hertfordshire Constabulary was already doing this and continues to do so as we recognise that attendance is invaluable in maximising our ability to capture evidence and identify offenders, as well as providing reassurance and crime prevention advice to residents.
Occasionally the victim/reporting person declines police attendance, hence why we do not always achieve an 100% attendance rate.
