Priority:
The priorities for May to August are as follows:
• Speed enforcement in Canterbury Way, North Road and Vardon Road.
• Drugs and related issues in all north wards, but specifically in Wisden Road, Vardon Road, Fairview Road, Meadway and North Road.
• Target theft from motor vehicle with a primary focus in the Old Town Ward, but extending across all North Wards.Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team of PCs and PCSOs have:
• Carried out speed enforcement activity in the area to improve road safety and deter speeding offences.
• Undertaken proactive action against drug-related activity across the northern wards, focusing on areas including Wisden Road, Vardon Road, Fairview Road, Meadway and North Road.
• Targeted thefts from motor vehicles through increased patrols, crime prevention advice and enforcement activity, with a particular focus on the Old Town ward and surrounding areas.
