The priorities for May to August are as follows:
• Anti-social behaviour in the town centre in the upcoming summer months.
• Drug use, and supply, in the public spaces such as the Town Centre Gardens and Hampson Park.Action taken:
The Neighbourhood Policing Team PCs and PCSOs have:
• Conducted regular high-visibility patrols and proactive operations in the town centre to deter ASB, including the use of the Live Facial Recognition Vans. Various arrests have been made.
• Targeted drug use and suspected drug dealing in public spaces, including the Town Centre Gardens and Hampson Park, through intelligence-led patrols, stop searches and partnership working.
