Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)
Following a priority setting forum in March 2024, police will continue to conduct high visibility patrols in the town centre focusing on - local policing operations, crime reduction initiatives, illegal use of e-scooters and other activity to tackle nuisance ASB and purse-dipping offences.
We are taking a problem solving approach to identified and non-identified individuals who reduce the quality of life and enjoyment of visitors, residents and businesses.

Stevenage Police are currently working with local partners to improve the Bedwell area, driving out organised crime linked to drug dealing and working with the community to improve the area and 'Build a Better Bedwell'.

Throughout the past months, officers and PCSOs in the Stevenage Central Neighbourhood Policing Team have been carrying out increased patrols in the area to deter and detect criminal activity and ASB, holding local surgeries to chat to local residents and business and document any ongoing concerns and taking part in community events.
